支聯會會徽介紹
About Hong Kong Alliance’s logo

支聯會於1989年5月21日成立後，曾經以「V」字手勢、手掌由「民主」組成的圖案為會徽（見右圖）。八九民運時，常見北京學生舉起「V」字手勢，天安門廣場上亦曾掛起「V」字圖案，代表人民必勝。

「六四」後，支聯會會徽改為中國地圖上高舉「V」字手勢，象徵在中國建設民主。

After Hong Kong Alliance was established on 21 May 1989, its logo was a V sign, with the rest of the hand forming the word “democracy” (See on the right pictures). During the 1989 democracy movement, it was common for students in Beijing to make the V sign, and a V logo also appeared on a banner flown in Tiananmen Square, representing victory for the people.

After June 4, 1989, Hong Kong Alliance’s logo was changed to the V sign against a map of China, symbolizing the building of democracy in China.
